On our Natchez Trace Road Trip we stayed at the Natchez State Park . This was our first longer trip in the pop up camper. We stayed four nights and the trip went great.
The state park was very nice. We made advanced reservations for Campground B, site 046. We choose this site because it was very spacious and directly across from the bathhouse.
Our campsite was paved, had a paved area with a picnic table, a grill, a fire pit and was located in a secluded area up against the woods. This was great because our children were able to play around our campsite with out us having to worry that they were bothering our neighbors.
The Natchez State Park was well laid out. So even though most of the campsites were full during our stay it did not feel crowded. Everyone was very polite and the campground was always quiet.
Most importantly for us since we don’t have a bathroom in the pop up camper, the bathhouse was clean and never crowded. Most of the time we were using it we were the only ones in there.
We were very happy with our experience at the Natchez State Park. It provided everything we needed to camp comfortably and the scenery was beautiful.
